Distracted Driving Will Cost Us More Than Money

This post brought to you by Insurance Hunter. All opinions are 100% mine.
Many people think that checking their phone or fiddling with their GPS while driving is not a big deal. However, it is a fact that about 8 out of every 10 accidents happen as a result of a distracted driver. None of us should take distracted driving lightly, distracted driving will cost us more than money since many people's lives at stake. As drivers, we need to Stop Distracted Drivers and follow the rules ourself and encourage others to do so as well.
By doing our part and focusing on driving can prevent millions of accidents each year. I strongly believe every driver, once they sit on the driving seat must make a conscious effort to remain focused on the road and drive safely at all times. Many people's minds are not focused when they drive that they forget to do simple things such as checking their surrounding well and putting on appropriate signals before turning and changing lanes that causes accidents.
Don’t become a distracted driver, put your phone away and focus by keeping your eyes on the road when you are behind the wheel. Check out this infograph by Insurance Hunter that explains people are distracted by...
  • Auditory: Hearing something unrelated to driving
  • Visual: Looking at things other than the road
  • Cognitive: Thinking about things not related to driving
  • Manual: Using something other than the wheel
