Win a goodie bag from News-O-Matic an education app for children

I like it when my daughter uses the News-O-Matic educational app that is created by a skilled team of child experts, designers and entrepreneurs. This app is developed by Press4Kids, which covers breaking news, sports, science and more in an accessible and kid-friendly way.
I allow my daughter to use this app because it helps her talk and understand about current global issues. My daughter enjoys using this app and benefits from it, as she gets to learn about things that are happening in the world.

Although, the app is a little costly it benefits children age 7 to 10 years. This fun and interactive app has five daily news stories, detailed images, videos, illustrations, maps, timelines, and games. This app will inspire children to become habitual news readers and well-informed global citizens.
I like this app because it safely gives children the opportunity to explore the latest current events. The app tests the children's comprehension and knowledge with a quiz after children read the news. Children also have the opportunity to express their views by writing to the Editor-in-Chief, rating the stories, drawing pictures or asking about current topics in the “News Room” section of the app.

  1. I'm in Canada, and I think its important once they become a certain age. I think its important for my 15 year old, not so important for my 5 year old.

  2. I am in Canada. I think it's important for kids to know what's going on in the world. My kids are small so we are not at the stage to discuss things like that with them.

  3. I live in Canada. I think it's important to some extent. With social media and the news these days, it's hard to shelter your child even if you wanted to.

Yes I do think it is important for kids to be knowledgable about current affairs but do not let them watch the news when they are young. Content is often inappropriate for kids.

  8. I'm in Canada. We encourage discussions about current events in our family. Some things are a bit more sensitive and we are careful about it but I think it's important that kids know what's going on.

  19. I am in Canada and I do think it's important for children to be aware of current affairs to a certain extent, but at the same time I do not want them to worry, they need to enjoy their childhood as much as possible because as we all know, time passes very quickly!
